Our Signature Classes

Traditional Reformer Pilates Level I

A beginner level class focusing on the Pilates principles and the classical reformer exercises to build stability and develop the mind-body connection.

Traditional Reformer Pilates Level II

An intermediate/advanced level class for experienced Pilates students who desire a more challenging full-body workout combining increased intensity and tempo with additional choreography to challenge balance, coordination, and endurance.

Reformer All Levels

Focuses on exercises that promote core strength and control, spinal articulation, flexibility and mind-body connection. Can be especially beneficial for clients with previous injuries/physical limitations, and who would like to move more slowly on their Pilates technique, linking breath with movement.

Firefly Pilates is a welcoming neighborhood Pilates and movement studio located in Southwest Gainesville.  We provide a personalized and positive movement experience in a safe, respectful, and beautiful environment. Our expert instructors offer customized Pilates instruction designed to meet your individual needs, whether you are looking for post-rehabilitative support or an advanced athletic workout. We welcome you to join us for Private or Group Pilates sessions right in the heart of Gainesville!

When I started yoga with Anisa, I didn’t want to be there, which would devastate or discourage most instructors. Anisa’s patience and kindness with me over the years helped me to understand not only where my limitations lay, but how my coping mechanisms (which worked so well for most of my life) were starting to fail me.
